Thanks for you generous donations worth $4000 to enable rural groups boost on the local enterprises, Mountains of Hope has identified six groups and has already facilitated them with interest free loans worth $360 per group.
"We are going to buy more machinery to boost on our food processing plant" said Allen, a chairperson of Kewerimidde women development trust.
All these groups were established by the community itself and have been in existance for over five years but have not been accessing loans due to lack of security, "we did not ask for any security from them because we have worked with them for quite a long timeand have been watching them struggle with their small enterprises, we trust that they will pay back the loans that will help us to again loan them to other groups" said James the Executive Director, Mountains of Hope.
