Give 3,150 Brazilian Workers Ages 50+ A Life

Although we didn't get any donation for our project because the person who was in charge encountered a family problem and we didn’t have the time to find a new replacement, participating in Global Giving was still a very worthy experience. During the 3-month period, Social Good Brazil and its team have provided us with a lot of support. Now we’ve learned the structure of crowdfunding and we plan on starting a new campaign soon with some companies and partners here in Brazil.

The entire Social Good Brazil team has been very helpful since the beginning and we really appreciate the support they’ve provided. The Global Giving platform is very easy to access and learn. If in the future we have more time, we would love to try again and reach out to Global Giving’s corporate partners.

Now MaturiJobs is taking strides forward in terms of the number of registered users. Up to this point, we have over 5,000 user in Brazil. Also, we are currently making contact with many companies and advertise the benefits and advantages of hiring workers who are older than 50 years old. We are continuously working on finding more partners to open up the job market for elders. This is why these courses and workshops are extremely important. We have prototyped a few events so far and were able to communicate with companies who may want to continually support our course in 2017.
