Your donation helps provide festive clothing, delicious meals, sweets, and fireworks-giving our 26 Dayspring children the chance to experience the joy and togetherness of Diwali just like any other child.
Many of the children supported by this project have lost one or both parents to HIV or TB, while others come from families too poor or ill to care for them. Without help, these children face hunger, lack of education, untreated health issues, and deep social stigma. This project provides a safe home, access to healthcare, nutritious meals, and education-ensuring that orphaned and vulnerable children affected by HIV and TB can grow up healthy, confident, and hopeful for a brighter future.
It provides festive clothing, nutritious meals, sweets, and celebrations for our 26 Dayspring children who might otherwise miss out on the joy of the holiday. By ensuring they have food, attire, and a sense of inclusion, the project helps children feel valued, loved, and part of a community-creating lasting memories and fostering emotional well-being during a time that celebrates light, hope, and generosity.
We are proud to say that many of our children have now grown up, and have graduated high school and attend the local college or university, with aspirations for working in civil service. This is with continuing medical assessment, sustainable nutrition and social care, and depends on generous donor support. Together we are ensuring a better future free from stigma and full of health and possibilities. It is with our sincerest gratitude that we thank you for giving to the children of India.
