The purpose of this project was to provide an essential tool for addressing mental and socioemotional health issues for 90 Children at Amún Shéa School. Regular yoga practice not only fosters emotional resilience but also promotes social union; when practiced in groups, helps students and teachers rebuild connections and feel more grounded. With an hour's class of yoga, we saw students dealing with anxiety, isolation, depression, and social disconnection, an improvement in their mental well-being and emotional stability.
We raised $2,000 amount that helped implement all Yoga offers: physical movement, breath control, postures, and mindfulness practices that help regulate emotions, reduce stress, and improve focus.
We want to say THANK YOU! Your generosity and support have made an incredible difference, and we realized it not only in our students and teachers but also in the little ones whose COVID-19 pandemic affects them in many ways. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!
