We did it!
Thanks to the amazing response from supporters like you, we raised enough donations to rebuild our damaged front gates and build the extra set of security gates to keep our shelter dogs from the road. We exceeded our target so there is even enough to increase the height of our front wall to provide even greater security.
The new front gate is a channel gate design meaning it rolls across to open rather then swinging out to open. This means it is more safe and better lasting for the comings and goings of our rescue vehicles and other vehicles that need access to our hospital.
The photos show the new main gate which has already been installed. It is yet to be painted but we are so pleased to have it in place. The inner gates will be completed in the coming weeks.
We treat and care for up to 600 animals every at TOLFA so it's very important that structural things like the gates are working properly and fit for purpose. We really appreciate your support with this important project.
Thank you
