Dear Patrons,
We are happy to share with you that because
of your generous donations, we were able to
start the Life Skills program at the Coimbatore
area government schools! In this report, I will
elaborate on the activities that were conducted
through this microproject so far.
Orientation program to the Government School
Teachers on the Life Skill Activities:
An orientation program was conducted for the
government school teachers to orient them on the
Life Skill Activities on 25th of November 2017, at
the Isha Vidhya Matriculation School in Coimbatore
district. 13 teachers participated in the program.
The objective of the program was to clarify the
teachers on their roles while conducting the various
life skill activities like Tree Nursery (Environment),
Health Education, Career Guidance, etc. Isha's
Upa Yoga was also taught to the teachers for them
to train the students.
Yoga classes to students:
The teachers conducted yoga classes to the students
from 27th November to 1st of December, covering 730
students.
Yoga was taught to all the students of the primary classes
and selected students from Higher Secondary Schools
refreshed themselves by attending the yoga classes. All
the schools students are doing Yoga on daily basis and
these students who attend the refresher classes will do
the corrections to others if needed.

Closing of fundraising through this microproject:
We would like to let you know that this microproject
will soon wind up on fundraising (in another 10 days).
There's still $1500 to be raised for the activities.

get it fully funded before it closes.
