Thanks so much for supporting Haiyan survivors like Zain. Zain is only 18 months old but he’s a survivor of typhoon Haiyan. He lives with his parents and 3 month old sister in Tacloban’s Barangay 88. Zain’s dad is a construction worker and although he works hard it’s often tough to find a job because so many people are still unemployed after the typhoon.
This meant that Zain and his family often went hungry.
But now because of your generosity, we’ll be able to provide hot meals for Zain, his family, and families like theirs.
These meals will provide a lifeline by helping Haiyan survivors to avoid hunger, malnutrition. It will also allow poor families to spend more of their own precious income on rebuilding.
We’ll send you updates about how your gift is changing the lives of Zain, his family, and families like theirs right here on GlobalGiving. Should you ever have any questions about how we’re using your donation, please don’t hesitate to email Andy@IDVolunteers.org. We’d love to hear from you!
One last time, thanks so much for ensuring that Zain and his family can enjoy hot meals and for reminding him that there is someone who cares.
