Physical and mental health for vulnerable children

With COVID19, 50 children who live in SUPERARSE boarding home, have had to be isolated with few and limited spaces to have fun or study. They need space to play soccer and basketball, we want to build a court or field, for their physical and mental health. The dream of all children in Colombia and in the world is to have spaces to move and play, kick or bounce a ball, share with other children and learn in outdoor spaces. YOU CAN MAKE THEIR DREAM COME TRUE, GIVING THEM A SPACE TO PLAY

50 children from the boarding home, who for a time were very isolated due to Covid risks, and even now they are still isolated, preventing contagion. They need more spaces to play, their physical and mental health has been affected by the confinement. Physical activity for children is vital to their health, thus preventing metabolic diseases, such as diabetes and obesity, also including emotional symptoms and even helping to combat depression and anxiety. GIVE A SPACE FOR SPORTS AND EDUCATION.

In children, exercise improves mental function, autonomy, memory, speed and the feeling of well-being, there is a stability in the personality characterized by optimism, euphoria and mental flexibility. Sport, at all ages, improves the functioning of the body and the psychological elements that influence health-physical, mental and social. Therefore, sports practice has a very positive influence on children's development and maturity. YOU CAN TRANSFORM THEIR LIFE.

Long-Term Impact

In 50 years, we have welcomed more than 7000 children at risk, guaranteeing their rights, they have received full protection, psychological support, skills tutoring, education and develop their potential to reduce the inequality gap in which they live. We seek to get them out of the dangers of life on the street, drugs and sexual abuse, providing them with a safe home and opportunities to develop their life projects. We dream of building a new boarding home to protect more children in Colombia.
