Because of your generous donations, Yasmin just finished her first term at her local community college! She is thrilled. We have not been able to get Yasmin's mother out of Egypt yet but we are hopeful that will happen sometime this year. Yasmin is going to work this summer and go back to school in the fall.
Here is part of an email she sent to us:
"My life is so different now. I am living with my grandmother. I have friends. I miss my mother but I know she will join me soon. One day, when I am a social worker, I am going to help other women the way you helped me."
