Thanks to our supporters and friends for standing with us during these unprecedented times of COVID-19 Pandemic, LGBT Voice Tanzania is still Active and working hard to protect, defend and promote LGBT rights in Tanzania, thanks for donating your hardly earned money to support our cause.
We are very much active in the fight for Equality in Tanzania by leading advocacy campaigns and providing human rights education to the LGBT community and community leaders to ensure the general public has knowledge about LGBT rights and how to defend their rights.
The organization has continued to conduct one to one counseling and guidance to LGBT individuals who are victims of violence based on gender identity and sex orientation, we still use our small office space located in a shopping centre near many homophobic people and a homophobic landlord.
It has been challenging to run our daily activities in this premise especially during these unprecedented times COVID-19 Pandemic, when enforcing distancing and isolation because our current office is very small to accommodate all of us at a time.
That is why we are still appealing for support so that we can reach our threshold of $27,000 and purchase a new build which we will have multiple use, including, office, library, meetings and special events, a clinic to provide emergence medical care, condoms and lubricants to our LGBT clients especially those who are Positive HIV+.
This place will be secure and confidential which will help reduce the risk of attacks and trespass by homophobic community members who routinely attack our members.
Kindly consider making a donation to support this important project that will bring a permanent office space and a lasting solution to the LGBT community
Thanks again for being our supporter.
