This project will help us keep some of the best teachers in Guatemala, here at Asociacion Nuestros Ahijados. Not only do these teachers nourish the children's desire to learn, explore, and develop they also play intricate roles in their healing process. Many of our children come from extremely poor families with very limited resources, have suffered from abuse, or were abandoned; and our university educated teachers have made daily activities around their comfort zones.

This project aims to keep our children with the best univeristy educated teachers we can find in Guatemala; in a country where a degree is not required to teach. We know a good education can indeed help in the reduction of poverty, provide a wide variety of opportunities in each student's future, and provide them with the resources necessary to achieve their goals and overcome their personal challenge.
We will continue to provide diligent trainings and educational summits for our teachers so they have the resources necessary to help our children flourish. Through selecting only the most adaptable and well rounded teachers we are able to have an amazing team of support available when children need extra guidance or are faced with a challenge.
By ensuring the health, safety, and education of over 300 orphaned, abandoned, and poverty-stricken children and their families, we're fighting poverty, changing lives, and providing Guatemala with a brighter future.
