Unfortunatly we were unable to raise the full amount needed for this project via Globalk Giving platform.
Fortunatly we will still be able to offer the driving licence to the students of the 7th year at the LAP using fund collected via a Dutch foundation and fund collected via GlobalGiving.
A driving licence in Burkina can be considered as another diploma. Students will be more competitive on the job market. It will also allow them to drive a vehicule if they choose to start their own business.
This will be the second year this possibility is offered to students at the LAP. Asking students what was more difficult for them, passing the agricultural exam called BEP or the driving licence, they all found the driving licence more difficult. The reason for that is that for the driving licence you need to do several things at the same time.
We really hope that we will be able to continue this project for the studenst of the 7th year also in the future years.
