Summary

This project will help Rashid have access to basic amenities like food, clothing as well as attend a good school. He can help his widowed mother when he grows up. His mother N barely earns Rs 4000 a month. Rashid is in STD V.

Challenge

Rashid's father was killed in an accident 6 years ago. His mother N works as a daily wage laborer in a firm in Cherlapally. She makes less than $80 a month. With that income, she is not able to support her son. Rashid stopped studying for some time.

Solution

Rashid has been adopted by Sphoorti since 2014. Your support will help us provide hostel accommodation, good food and clothing as well as send him to a good quality school. Rashid wants to become a sportsperson. It will be great if we all come together to fund his dream.

Long-Term Impact

Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 250 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
