Challenge

The Center is in dire need of new/updated equipment and supplies. This will ensure that the young women have access to the needed resources for skillful training. Without this equipment, they will not be proficient. This project will help solve the problem of a shortage of equipment and supplies. Without this training, the young ladies will not be equipped with the skills that they need to find a job or start their own business. This will help them move one step towards becoming self-sufficient.

Solution

Fnds from this project will purchase the needed equipment and supplies. With these supplies, the Center will be able to continue providing excellent training opportunities for the young women. This is targeted towards ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for deserving young women - meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goal # 4.

Long-Term Impact

The project contributes to youth development by providing skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship. It creates employment opportunities for disadvantaged youths and young adults - helping them to move from poverty and unemployment to self-sufficiency. This effective intervention continues to provide the essential skills that school drop outs and unemployed youths need in their quest towards financial independence.
