Thank you friends for helping Tejaswini continue her studies inspite of hailing from a poor family . She is in High School and looks forward to pursue Higher Education. It has been quite a journey.
Through the help of relatives, Tejaswini approached Sphoorti for support in 2019. During Covid19, we extended help to her and people from her community. She has also been helping us run Study Centers by organizing evening classes, taking attendance and correcting examination papers. Through her interaction with other children and staff, her communication skills improved substantially.
We have raised a total of $800 for Tejaswini from GlobalGiving and other sources.
We spent 50% on tuition fee and College related fees/expenses while 40% was spent on clothing and transportation. The remaining 10% will be spent on online courses.
We thank our staff and donors for helping us change lives.
