Jamuna lost both her parents at a young age and was raised by her maternal uncle and aunt, who supported her through a Diploma in Speech Impairment. However, she had to pause her education for a few years to help cover her brother's educational expenses. Determined to continue her journey, Jamuna recently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She has reached out to us for support in continuing her studies.
This project will solve the problem of interrupted education for a dedicated student from a vulnerable background. Despite her passion and potential, Jamuna had to pause her studies to support her family. Without financial assistance, she risks dropping out again. This project ensures she can complete her Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, ultimately helping to address the shortage of speech therapists in low-resource settings.
This microproject will solve the problem by providing financial support for Jamuna's tuition fees, study materials, and related academic expenses, allowing her to continue her Bachelor's program in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology without interruption. With this assistance, she can focus fully on her education, complete her degree, and go on to serve communities in need of speech and hearing support-turning her personal challenges into a source of healing for others.
By enabling Jamuna to complete her degree, this microproject sets her on a path to become a certified audiologist and speech-language pathologist-filling a critical gap in healthcare services for individuals with speech and hearing impairments. It empowers her to achieve financial independence, break the cycle of hardship in her family, and serve as a role model for other young women.
