Francis, one of the beloved directors of Mountains of Hope is fighting for his life in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after a motorcycle accident. He needs urgent help to cover life-saving care
On July 5, Francis was hit by a reckless driver on his way home. Despite wearing a helmet, he suffered a severe brain bleed and lung damage. He has undergone multiple surgeries including brain surgery and a tracheotomy, and has been in ICU since July 5. In Uganda, healthcare is not free. ICU care costs about $400 per day. With weeks already in hospital and more recovery ahead, the financial burden is overwhelming for his family
