Favor project has been up for funding for a very short period, and we hope her recovery is as prompt too. We could pay for her school fees and we have scheduled a meeting with her mother and a check up with a doctor, her last one was too long ago. After it we have enough secured funds to pay for the required treatment and we will have savings to keep helping her fight cancer as long as it takes.
We will keep posting her story on facebook (www.facebook.com/reachoutcameroon) to share with all our friends her improvements and we hope it is not necessary but if it is required we will open another small project to get more funds. We will keep helping her mother and women like her mother through the Keep a Girl Alive program http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/make-an-impact-girls-education-cameroon/ and we will keep supporting and publicizing those cases that are more vulnerable, recently we posted Florence’s case, a blind single mother also from Tole http://www.globalgiving.org/microprojects/support-florence-struggle/ Tole village is rich in stories about the bravest fights and sadly it does not seem like we can run out of beneficiaries and projects any time soon. But for Favor you and we made a difference.
We want to thank our very generous donor, who is now part of Favor’s life and fight forever.
