By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Coordinator
Dear project supporters,
We are truly grateful for your support that is helping to educate displaced and deprived kids in Cameroon. The school is still in a dire and deprived condition in terms of facilities and resources. The school officials are hopeful that they will receive support from the local government in the near future.
From the funds raised through this project, we will be purchasing 1-2 blackboards and chalk. This is one of their current needs. The proposed blackboard will be moveable and similar to that shown in the included photo. This will help the students as they learn in class.
The school is currently closed for the summer holidays. Consequently, the head of the school has recommended that the chalkboards be purchased in September when school resumes.
Thank you again for your support and we welcome your ongoing support as we continue to provide school supplies to displaced / refugee kids in Cameroon.
Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
