Help Bring Soho Home With Her Family

A microproject by Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center
Vetted

Summary

Soho is the beloved pet of Kate and her daughter Angie. We have been working with Kate to get her and her daughter out of a very violent situation in Europe. We are very close to relocating them back to the USA but need to raise the funds for Soho for her kennel and shipping costs. Kate cannot leave Soho behind or she will be abused by her husband, who has already threatened to kill Soho if Kate leaves him.

Challenge

This project will enable Kate to get Soho back home safely with her and Angie from a European country to the USA.

Solution

Pets left behind in abusive homes are often injured or killed. Getting Soho back home to the USA for safety will ensure she is not hurt.

Long-Term Impact

This project will reduce animal abuse and help families thrive when rebuilding a healthy life away from domestic violence.
