Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of Serendipity,
I am so so excited to tell you that Asmau was able to enroll into Junior High School before School was out for the easter break. Although she joined in the middle of the term, she was able to cope with the lessons and partook in the second term exams.
With your kind support and generous donations, Asmau was able to enroll into school, get one pair of new school uniform and a new school bag. She is so thrilled to have gone back to school that she looks forward to completing her education and realise her dream of being a medical doctor.
School's out for the holidays to resume back on the 2nd of May, 2017 with the report sheet for the second term result collected upon resumption. The next term is around the corner and with it comes school fees for the term, promotional examination fees into Senior High School, new textbooks to be bought, extra school uniforms and school sandals.
Your continued support will go a long way in ensuring Asmau stays in school and realise her dream of being a medical doctor; by becoming a doctor she will be the second girl in the entire community in Gadan that completes her secondary education and goes on to college standing as another role model for girls in the community to achieve their dreams.
