Dear Friends,
Thank you for your support of the Afghan Institute of Learning and its effort to provide opportunities for Afghan women to care for bee hives. AIL is always looking for new ways to help women become independent and self-supporting individuals so they can fully contribute to their families and communities. This bee keeping project will provide women with an income generating skill, a valuable means to change their lives. They will be able to sell honey at the local market and use it for their own families.
Your donation will be pooled with others, to enable a group of women to learn how to set up and care for bee hives and to gain income from the endeavor. As soon as the funds are in place bees and the equipment to care for them will be purchased.
