Summary

Inspire the next generation of conservationists to save Cambodia's wildlife! Our wildlife education program promotes in youth a conservation ethic, facilitates continued environmental education and empowers students to become environmental stewards in their communities. Your gift will send 75 underprivileged children on an exciting educational experience, that will forever change their attitude towards wildlife and empower them to take action for protection.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Education regarding natural resource management and sustainable livelihoods is virtually non-existent in Cambodia. Field trips have been shown to improve critical thinking, increase engagement and enhance classroom studies, but the families we serve are too poor to afford these kinds of opportunities for their children. Right now, a class that would like to attend our wildlife education program in the fall needs your help!

How will this project solve this problem?

Our education program is creating a new generation of conservation leaders. By donating, you can give 75 underprivileged students a unique opportunity to experience our wildlife education program at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center. This three-day, two-night experience, will not only help them develop into confident leaders but also empower them to become stewards in their communities.

Potential Long Term Impact

Since the Kouprey Express began, more than 50,000 children and adults have benefited directly from the program, raising a generation of Cambodian youth with a commitment to preserving and protecting their unique environment for the future. Help us raise $2,000 to inspire the next generation of conservationists to save Cambodia's wildlife
