This project will push the CAP program even further, carrying us forward to improve our services. In 2018 we are aiming to expand the program and support female-led Ecuadorian nonprofits that are looking to grow as leaders and organizations with personalized learning opportunities! With educational workshops, supporting, networking, coaching, and resources, these women leaders can take their nonprofits to the next level, allowing them to have a stronger, more sustainable impact!
The CAP program is working to transform the statistic that 75% of Ecuadorian nonprofits close within a three-year window. We are empowering community leaders by giving them educational opportunities and resources that make them stronger leaders and more sustainable nonprofits. By touching 1 leader, we are impacting hundreds of beneficiaries and potentially thousands in their communities.
This project will help Hearts of Gold move forward to invest in the CAP program. After closing the pilot year of this program we will be focused on improving it by offering higher quality services, and making more scholarships available to even more nonprofits. We believe that in order to have the highest impact on Ecuadorian nonprofits, we must strategically invest in the opportunities that we provide for them.
The long-term impact of investing in non-profit leaders & organizations pays dividends to the community. By supporting CAP members, more than 1000 children and families in the communities they serve will benefit. Research proves that by supporting local nonprofits, strengthening their resources and improving their skills, more sustainable and impactful programs are maintained which help struggling communities. We choose to teach a man to fish and feed the community for a lifetime.
