In Kenya, free public schools are nonexistent, and more than one-third of school-age children are completely left without education due to a lack of financial support. We believe our job is to set the educational foundation for these kids to continue their education after graduation from our Center. That's why every year we run a crowdfunding campaign to pay the school's tuition for our new graduates. Any donation we receive for this fundraiser is dedicated to these children.
Part of our job is to ensure that the children who graduate from our Center continue their education in one of the community schools. In Kenya, free public schools are nonexistent and more than one third of school-age children are completely left without education due to lack of financial support.
That's why every year we run a crowdfunding campaign to pay the school's tuition for our newly-graduates. In 2022, we plan to sponsor a total of 51 children, 39 of whom are already in primary school (so we want to keep supporting their educational path) and an additional 12 kids who will graduate at Hai by the end of the next school year.
The project will educate 51 kids, that will continue their education, allowing them to rise out of poverty.
