Gracie needs a foster home for one month

A microproject by Pathways to Safety International
Gracie needs a foster home for one month

Summary

We are currently in the process of helping Megan escape her abuser in Italy along with Gracie. We have arranged for Megan to stay in a domestic violence shelter but they don't allow dogs. We found a foster home for Gracie for one month until Megan moves out of the shelter and into her own place. The $250 will cover all Gracie's food for the month and the cost of fostering.

Challenge

We have everything in place to relocate Megan and Gracie back to the USA, and a domestic violence shelter space for Megan, but we need to foster Gracie for one month as the domestic violence shelter does not allow pets.

Solution

Gracie will be well taken care of by her foster family while Megan is in the domestic violence shelter finding a job and a place to live.

Long-Term Impact

We will provide services to 150 American victims with pets in approximately 50 countries while they are fleeing violence. Our goal is to have all of them reach safety with their pets and live their lives without violence in their homes.
