Thank you for donating to our program Global Voices Against Violence Training in Lebanon. While we did not meet our funding goals, we are keeping the funds aside and will re-launch the program in the fall of 2014 in the hopes of raising the balance of the funds so we can continue the program.
I was in Beirut, Lebanon in April of this year and met with several agencies assisting victims. I was in awe of the amazing work they are doing to try to end violence against women under very difficult circumstances. This experience has fueled our desire even more to give a voice to victims in Lebanon.
