Dear Friend's Namaste!
Warm Greeting from RSKS India
Malaria and Dengue, the mosquito-borne diseases are getting more dangerous all over the world. According to a survey, these diseases cause a death every 30 seconds and it shows the scope of dispersion of these diseases. The residents of poor area and slums don't have proper measures to identify the symptoms of these diseases and due to the lack of appropriate remedy they get died.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of Global Giving Foundation, organised a program in village Pagara to make people aware of the measures of prevention of Malaria and Dengue, in which 75 persons participated. The primary objective of "Kill Malaria - Save Human Life", a joint venture of Rajasthan Samgrah kalyan Sansthan and Global Giving Foundation is to aware people about these epidemic diseases at most. The activists of the organisation apprised the residents of the village about the causes of Malaria that water collected water in drainage, worn-out objects and roads is the major cause of spreading malaria by which the village was affected. The villagers were also informed about the measure of protection and prevention of malaria so that they may be able to prevent themselves from the disease. At the end of the program, mosquito nets were distributed to 8 families. By using mosquito nets they may be able to be protected from wrath of mosquitoes.
One of our activists had conservation with a member from one of the visitor Beneficiary families. In her words, "My name is Mumtaj, resides at lower end of the village where pollution spreads due to collected water at road, drainage, and this has made me a victim of Malaria six months ago. I have got well after taking treatment for 2 months but now I am scared of becoming of victim of mosquito again. I am grateful for the support of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalayan Sansthan and Global Giving Foundation for their support and awareness program along with the mosquito net I got. Using it I may get protection from mosquitoes and have sweet dreams without any fear. "
