Hello and greetings from Pattaya!
Today I would like to give you all a short update on our Christmas Food and Gift Bags. We have not yet fully reached our funding goal, but thankfully to some gifts that we got from outside of GlobalGiving we are close to our target. But with Christmas coming closer and closer, we could not wait and so last week we purchased all the ingredients, yesterday we packed 400 big bags and today we started to distribute them during our first Tamar Christmas Party for Bargirls in 2020. Today almost 40 women showed up which brought our room to capacity due to Covid-19 restrictions. The women had a full Christmas Program, a nice meal and in the end were the first to receive a bag. The next big days for distribution are the 15th, 16th and 21st – we will go to two different Red-light areas from Pattaya on each of the days to distribute the bags.
Thank you for making it possible for us to pack and distribute these bags – they will bring hope, joy and much needed food to the women still working in the sex industry here.
