This Christmas we want to be a blessing to the many bargirls in Pattaya that lost their jobs, income and often housing during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thailand is slowly opening its borders and many women return in the hope of making money. We want to give out 300 Christmas gift bags including homemade cookies, food items, gifts, hygiene articles, a hot meal and info about free alternative vocational training options as a special surprise this Christmas. Help us give hope!
This project will help to show the Bargirls that they are not forgotten, that people still care for them and are willing to help. We also hope to build new relationship with these women and offer them free access to our English Classes and vocational Training programs.
The bags will address the urgent food needs that the women have, give them food for a couple of days but will also include needed hygiene articles, masks and some gifts to bring them happiness. Our goal is to share some much-needed encouragement and joy with them and give them our contact details so that they can reach out to us, if they need more help.
Our goal for the women is to leave Pattaya, maybe return to their families and to have a normal life outside of the sex industry. We will train the women job skills and help them to find employment or help them to start their own small business so that they can provide for themselves and their children. Also, when they return to their families, they will help to prevent other young girls and boys to start a work in the sex industry.
