Thanks so much for helping to provide a safe home for Florentina.
Florentina was brought to the HTDC orphanage by her 16 year old aunt after her parents abandoned her. Her aunt was very sad to give her up but she was almost a child herself and couldn’t raise a little one without more help.
Florentina’s aunt hoped the orphanage could keep a roof over her head, but safe houses large enough for all the kids are very expensive in Port-au-Prince. The orphanage can’t afford to pay it’s own rent and, without your help, Florentina was in danger of becoming a homeless street-kid.
But now, because of you, Florentina has a safe home for this year. Your donations will also provide caregivers to meet Florentina's needs and also ensure that she has access to water and electricity.
Florentina has a bright future because you gave. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Florentina. Thanks so much.
