300 children in rural Mpigi district, Uganda are dreaming of a Christmas like any child deserves: laughter, gifts, and love. Without help, many will see no feast, no carols, no surprise this year. Help us bring joy to these children and Christmas food to their families this festive season
Many families in Mpigi live in deep poverty. Children, often orphans or from grandparent- or single-parent-led homes, face Christmas with no gifts, no feast, no celebration, while parents struggle to even afford a special meal, leaving the whole family without joy this season
We will host a Christmas party for 300 children, with a Father Christmas visit, bouncing castle, games, and a wrapped gift each. Vulnerable families will also receive a Christmas food package. Volunteers will run it safely, funded by donations covering food, gifts, and entertainment
A joyful day and a shared meal tell a family they are not forgotten. This builds trust that opens doors to ongoing support like schooling and mentorship. Over time, the celebration and food support become a cherished yearly tradition for families, volunteers, and donors alike
