Fund raising for distributing winter wear for the children of Aasraa was a success.
Through out the cold winter, we were able to distribute thermal undergarments, warm tracksuits,woolen caps, socks, blankets to a 1000 street & slum children of Aasraa Trust in Dehradun.
The tracksuits became like the unofficial uniform for our children this winter season. Smiling cosy faces greeted us this season in every Aasraa learning centre. Classroom attendence usually suffers during extreme weathers as the children cannot brave the cold winters and fall sick. This year, attendance was much better as the children were well protected.
We would like to thank our generous donors who contributed towards the welfare of our children.
