Dehradun's cold winter season is well known in India. Though, well loved, the season is harsh on the little ones who have little to no warm clothes to protect themelves. Every year, the temperatures drop to between 1-20 degree celsius. Fog are a common sight. Lives are at stake every winter season, specially that of children.
Last month, we requested you to help us raise funds so we could keep our children snug and cozy this winter. As always, an overwhelming response from everyone has left us grateful and thankful. Thanks to you, Santa has come a bit early this year!
With your help, we have started the distribution process for thermal tracksuits for close to a thousand children! We plan to buy more winter gear soon.
Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously and also to the others who spread our message.
Wish you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
