We will implement several training programs open to the community as well as the children in our care, to be held at Another Hope. We will offer courses that will teach practical skills that are highly marketable such as: hair dressing, bakery and cookery, carpentry and joinery. Those that complete the training will be awarded certificates for their accomplishments. Please help us use this downtime to enrich the lives of those that really need it. The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in many lockdowns, including stores, transportation and school closures. While we are concerned with keeping our children healthy and strong, we also need to keep them engaged in learning, even if schools are not yet reopened. We know that when children are not in school, they are subject to violence/abuse at home, hunger, early pregnancies as well as other negative outcomes.
Because the children/youth will be engaged in skills chances of engaging in bad behavior like prostitution, drugs would be reduced
1) High Literacy levels in the country 2) Reduction in unemployment 3) Self reliance 4) Reduction in early marriages and teenage pregnancies
