Now more than ever, it's important to reduce our carbon footprint and invest in solutions that will reverse the global climate crisis. The earth's atmosphere is heating up due to excess carbon dioxide and biodiverse species of flora and fauna species are threatened with extinction. Local people lack the resources and economic incentives to conserve rainforest. Communities, especially women suffer from lack of sustainable work opportunities.
We believe in planting one tree at a time. We collaborate with landowners to restore deforested land by planting and maintaining biodiverse forests that sequester carbon, protect watersheds, and create food and resource sovereignty for future generations. Our trees planted near the equator grow faster and capture more carbon due to abundant sunshine and water. Individuals and businesses from around the world can be part of positive change by sponsoring trees in Costa Rica through our program.
Remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Conserve fresh water and stabilize rain cycles. Preserve rainforest flora, fauna and wildlife habitat. Create sustainable business for 44 women to produce fertile soil. Create long term income for more than 50 Costa Ricans producing, planting and maintaining trees around rivers and streams of their own deforested farms in wildlife corridors.
