SSDRC works for the children with Autism. It helps them with studies and rehabilitates them. Sponsoring one child with autism will help to enroll them in SSDRC which provides special treatments and therapies for the development of Autistic child.
Autistic children in Nepal have not much to look up to. Already reeling under poverty and other social evils these children are hardly supported by their families and left alone. In most of the cases lack of awareness takes a toll on these kids. They are then taken into SSDRC which helps them with their autism and provides special care. These organization are run on funds from various donors and due to the lack of fund the kids' treatments and rehabilitation are hanging in a limbo.
The project will help provide special treatment to autistic children at SSDRC (special school for disabled and rehabilitation centre) as well as provide them with special care and education. They are also rehabilitated by the organization.
The children are helped with their disease, social anxiety and rehabilitated by the organization so that their lives ahead become easy and meaningful. Proper treatment and care along with rehabilitation will help the children live a better life with or without disability. It also helps spread a positive message in a country where people blame supernatural forces and call the people with disabilities, sinners.
