Hola friends,
Muchisma gracias for donating towards helping the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation to bring fruit trees to the children and surrounding village of Casa Guatemala in Rio Dulce, Guatemala! We will be traveling to Casa Guatemala for this project in July 2019, and in the meantime our friends there are working on surveying the community for a list of trees that are preferred by the locals. So far the list includes rambutan, naranjas (oranges), mango, mandarins, caimitos, jocote de mico, zapotes, and aguacates (avocados), and we will send along pictures and updates as we recieve them.
Since we still have several months until the project, we have decided to create another fundraiser to help raise money to bring fruit trees to this very beautiful but in need community of Mayan children and families in northern Guatemala. Please consider donating and helping spread the word to friends and family.
