our appeal for donations for the people damaged by cyclone Mocha in Rakhine State in Myanmar, we could unfortunately only win one donor and thus not reach our project goal here. Nevertheless, we thank the person who donated here for this project. We have increased the donations to a budget that was also intended for the families affected by Cyclone Mocha. From this budget, 330 families in Baydar village in Rakhine State received a survival package with rice, dried fish, beans, and oil. They also received some cash money so that they could buy something special. The people we supported with survival packages are Rohingyas. Most of these families already had many difficulties before the cyclone. Many families have no work and are very poor. Conflicts between the Rakhine army and the military have been going on for years.
