Over our ten years of trajectory, we have made and donate more than 3,000 prosthesys to people who need them and want to walk again. Half of that population have been children and the main reason of their request to get a prosthesys, is beecause they had a congenital malformation. From those 3,000 beneficts, 10% of them have been children who didn´t develop one of their extremities, caused by congenital malformations.
Ever is one of these kids. He came from Buenaventura, a city that is 400 km away from Medellin, the city in Colombia where is ubicated Mahavir Kmina. Ever received his first check with a Physiatrist doctor and the measurements of his leg were taken so we could begin the construction of his prosthesys.
He also received a Psychiatric assistance with the donations YOU dear donor gave us. We are so grateful and thankful because you believe in second chances, you believe in the possibility to start over again, you believe in the things we believe. Your thoughful donation helped Ever to hope and dream with a better future, and even though we couldn´t reach the amount of donations to fabricate him his prosthesys, we reached our goal with some other donations we received to complete the process, but your initiative helped Ever so he can start over again.
