This project aims to establish a pharmacy in Uganda, providing employment opportunities for pharmacy students and bringing essential medical services closer to the community. This project addresses the shortage of healthcare services and unemployment among pharmacy graduates that we have supported in Uganda

Challenge

Pharmacy graduates in Uganda face significant challenges in securing employment, leading to a waste of skilled human resources, in addition many communities in Uganda lack access to basic healthcare services, including pharmacies, exacerbating health issues and mortality rates

Solution

This fund will establish a pharmacy, providing employment and practical experience for Mountains of Hope-supported pharmacy students and graduates, while offering community outreach programs with basic healthcare services and education

Long-Term Impact

Establish a sustainable pharmacy model, providing employment opportunities for pharmacy graduates, improving access to healthcare services, and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
