This project will support women across Ukraine and Moldova who experience poverty, abuse and divorce due to alcoholism, women who rely on their ex-husband to receive benefits to raise the children. It will give access to free childcare, free legal advice and counselling, food, medicine and clothes, free to use rehabilitation service for disabled children and free education and support to mothers of children with a disability.
Alcoholism, poverty&disability are some of the reasons mothers are forced to raise their children on their own. The stigma of disability is very high and in many cases fathers abandon their family.There are cases of mothers who cannot receive benefits because their estranged husband has to approve the papers or doesn't want to give a divorce.Cases of mothers hiding from their ex-husband because of abuse & violence. Women who cannot work because they have no help. Child abandonment due to poverty
- Give access to free childcare by funding free to use after school programmes. - Provide advice and help when applying for benefits. - Free legal advice - Free to use rehabilitation service for disabled children and free education and support to mothers of children with a disability. - Counselling service for mothers - Supporting emergency appeals with food, medicine and clothes. We want to help and support vulnerable woman to live a normal life, work and be a great example for their children.
