Today, women are being noticed sincerely and performing according to their skills, are contributing for the economic and social development. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of Global Giving Organisation has started a beauty parlour vocational training course for the economic and social development of poor deprived girls of the slums in Ajmer.
The primary objective of the program is to make women empower and develop beauty parlour skills among them. Under the livelihood development program, the specialist trainer has provide them training for details of beauty parlour such as facial, bleech, hair cut, medicure, pedicure, mehndi, threading, wax, eye-brow making, etc. The trainer has taught them theoretically and practically both for 5 hours daily during the program.
One of the trainees, Deepmala is very happy to get training for beauty parlour work. She says, "She is getting self-reliant now and also her living standard has got some change. Now she has become self- employed and got a better livelihood whose credit goes to Global Giving Foundation and the donors completely. It is their financial support which makes her dream fly." Now, Deepmala is very happy to run her own beauty parlour and thanks all the donors.
