Because of you we have already been able to place five battered mothers and their children into hotels this year! Your donation has helped provide life-saving refuge for victims in danger, who may well have otherwise been on the street in a time of crisis.
Here is a note from one battered mother you helped. "I didn't know what to do. I was so afraid. When I called Lucy from a pay phone and she said she could put me and my baby in a hotel for the night while she arranged a bus ticket for me to get to the city so I could fly home, I cried. I didn't think anyone would care about me that much..."
