Emergency hotel room for victims escaping violence

Emergency hotel room for victims escaping violence

Project Report | Mar 6, 2017
You already helped a battered American mother and child!

By Paula Lucas | Founder & Executive Director

Nadine barely got out of Turkey safely when she escaped her abusive husband last month with her daughter Senota. We had to get her into a hotel for one night before she could get to the American Embassy to get emergency passports for Senota and herself.

Being able to stay in a hotel safely for one night was critical to a successful escape. The hotel staff even helped them get to the Embassy and then get them to the airport.

Your generosity in provoiding hotel stays for battered American mothers and children may not seem like a lot, but one night of safety for victims escaping abuse is life altering, if not life saving.

They are home now and staying with Nadine's parents and Nadine wanted us to thank you all for helping her and Senota!

Wwe would also like to thank you! The AODVC Team
