Battered mothers and their children escaping violence often need a hotel for one night while we assist their escape from the foreign country back to the USA. This project will provide a one night's stay for 10 victims and their children in 2017.
When battered mothers flee an abusive home with their children they need a safe place to stay while one of our case managers helps them get airline tickets home. Getting into a shelter in a foreign country on a moments notice is nearly impossible.
This project will provide 10 battered mothers fleeing violence with their children one night in a hotel to assist in their escape in 2017.
The project serves 500 women per year empowering them to find alternatives to a life of violence so their children grow up in violence free homes with their self-esteem in tact with the hope of stopping the cycle of violence in future generations.
