We want to share with you an update on how our project has been going, therefore we are going to tell you the story about teacher Deisy's work on the emotional and educational students' development.
Her students of second grade of high school have a rivalry that didn't allow them to lend each other their notebooks, help each other or be empathetic with their classmates' learning. In the process, they formed groups that ended up making enemies.
Therefore, teacher Deisy sought a way to integrate them through singing and English. During various sessions, the students would form different groups that would exchange members. If they wanted to achieve the goal of the session, they had to work as a team. In addition, teacher Deisy counseled her students about camaraderie, healthy competition and how nice it is to have a proper study environment.
At first, the students were reluctant to understand Deisy's message, but over time, little by little, they began to integrate and work as a team. Now, the 2nd B high school students support each other and seek to learn.
"I was very happy and even happier when I saw that they understood that together they are stronger and more productive. They themselves laughed about their past rivalries" - says teacher Deisy.
Thanks to your support we are able to make stories like that of teacher Deisy and her students possible. Together we can transform Peruvian education!
