Due to the earthquake in Syria, Carry the Future has stepped in to assist families by providing diapers. This project will help families continue to feel supported in the aftereffects of the earthquake. During the week of April 3-7, donations up to $50 will be matched by 50%. Every donation helps!
On February 6, 2023, Syria was hit with a massive 7.8 earthquake. The death toll has now reached over 50,000 people, with more than 900,000 people displaced. These numbers are staggering. Many of the families affected were already internationally displaced and are now experiencing the challenge of living in temporary shelters in harsh winter weather. Even after the news stops covering these events, families still need support.
To support these families, Carry the Future hopes to raise $5,000 to provide diapers to these families in need. We have partnered with NuDay in Idlib, Syria to get these families supplies. Through our efforts at Carry the Future, we hope to be able to bring comfort and necessities to those who are experiencing the aftereffects of the earthquake. Carry the Future is committed to providing diapers to refugees and displaced throughout the world. We know access to clean diapers makes a difference.
We believe a child's safety and future always comes first and that access to diapers and essential hygiene supplies is critical for the long-term health and well-being of refugee communities. We provide essentials to alleviate one major stressor from families' lives, and to provide a safer, healthier community for babies, their siblings and parents.
