Support a litte boy with Down syndrome

Summary

As part of our Make a wish program Abracadabra, this particular project is dedicated to eight year old Chen Kunhao, a boy with Down syndrom from Guizhou province. He recently underwent heart surgery in Huaxin hospital, which is where our volunteers from the Playtime program met him. Please help us give Kunhao specifically selected toys and tools to support his healthy growth.

Challenge

Kunhao lives in a poor area in Guizhou province. He is recovering well from the heart surgery, surrounded by his doting family. The sweetness of the boy and the love of his parents touched us deeply. However, Kunhao is not going back to school, as for him attending to school is a challenge in itself. After exchanges with his mother, we had idea to provide educational and developmental toys and tools for this boy.

Solution

Education and proper care have been shown to improve quality of life for children with Down syndrome. Together with you, we want to support Kunhao in his physical and mental development, especially now that his school education is interrupted.

Long-Term Impact

With your help, we hope to provide tools to this lovely boy and enable him to progress and develop new skills.
