Alinda Naskar, Founder and Director of New Life Centre in Sarberia reports:-
"Communications at the time of the cyclone became very difficult with no electricity since the evening of 19th May. People cannot charge their mobile phones. Internet facility was also very much interrupted. We are still under lock down situation for COVID-19. Both the COVID situation and Cyclone Amphan have had a severe effect on the lives of our local people.
The school has around 35 glass windows broken only, but many of our children’s homes are badly damaged. We would be tremendously grateful for any financial help for our community. Thank you."
